Альбом хорош, насыщен и атмосферен. Группа продолжает протаптывать путь полноформатника. Альбом показался чуть слабее, но марку держат. Вторая половина альбома особенно вставила, начиная с Year Zero и вплоть до конца все классные песни идут, с первой же половины конечно же Secular Haze - хит!

Насчет переоцененности не соглашусь. В когорте оккультного-психоделического рока а-ля Year of the goat, sabbath assembly, bloody hammers, the devil`s blood эти товарищи выделяются и запоминаются, не сливаются в общую кашу. Насчет мерсифул-фэйт-воршипа вот эти оккультные дяди лучше всего это делают In Solitude - The World. The Flesh. The Devil (2011) - советую кстате!

Ну вот опять. Скорее всего, я уже писал об этом, но всё же. Ghost - только идеологический преемник MF. Ибо где вы у них слышали такие высокие скорости и акцент на гитары? Где у Мёрсифулов столько психодела в клавишных партиях? Совсем непохожие мелодии и ритмы, а вокалистов только слабослышащий может перепутать. Атмосфера одинаково сотоническая, но группы разные.
In Solitude же - ко-пи-я. Меня они, кстати, не впечатлили. Аж Portrait слушать сразу расхотелось. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif)

Ещё ATTIC можно вспомнить из последователей MERCIFUL FATE. Творчество GHOST же в корне отличается от всего вышеперечисленного. Переоценённость шведов присутствует для кого-то или нет, но их залог успеха кроется в грамотной рекламной кампании, любопытном имидже и отличной, цепляющей музыке - этого я отрицать не смогу. И вполне заслуженный успех.

Прошлый мне показался новационней и интереснее, один кавер на Битлов чего стоил. Здесь же интересна Секулар Хазе, да вторая половина альбома. И почему они не добавили кавер на АББУ? Классно же получилось.
