У Азарата если когда-то и был в музыкальной составляющей Black Metal, то в этом релизе он испарился окончательно и это прекрасно. По саунду и общей подаче музыка по наитию отдает чем-то вроде Nile и Immolation, но на польский манер лабать дисайдовщину под разными вывесками)

Материал жесткий, хлесткий и плотный. Саунд достаточно живой и сочный, барабанщик - отче. Пластинка прекраснейшим образом ублажила мой слух и вообще топчик в этом году.

Эти поляки не подвели, выдав очередной мощный релиз, а для меня и вовсе лучший. Я вообще их как-то пропустил, от того сейчас приятнее знакомство с альбомом. Чуваки всегда тяготели к техничной области дэта, а от блэка у них была только атмосфера; здесь же блэка вообще осталось с гулькин нос, зато есть довольно техничный в меру прибруталенный плотный дэт, несущийся с бешеной скоростью, кмк, парни наконец раскрылись во всей красе. В паре трэков скорости снижаются, мрак сгущается, можно проникнуться, в общем.

Вырабатываемые годами стиль и подача здесь приобрели окончательные очертания, парни узнаваемы и имеют свой вес на металлической сцене, поэтому сравнения с Бегемотом или (вот где-то прочитал) с Хэйт считаю смешными. Материал силён со всех сторон, увлекает за собой и погружает в себя, в топ года, короче.

Cквозь годы пластинка прижилась и полюбилась пуще прежнего. По некой совокупности впечатлений о материале, звуке и общей подаче сабж считаю лучшим альбомом Azarath. Если в первой десятилетке своей карьеры они выпустили четыре крепких и весьма неплохих альбома, но все равно не высовывали голову выше остальных собратьев, то уже на Blasphemers' Maledictions пламя стало раздуваться сильнее, а после длительной паузы In Extremis реально полыхнул.

Этот альбом демонстрирует помпезный, немного напыщенный и гордый Death Metal, по духу здесь ближе Hate Eternal, Vital Remains и Immolation. Inferno большой молодец, что не превратил свое детище в бегемотоподобный клон польской сцены, а сколотил достаточно самобытный коллектив, который, может быть, за счет его популярности в Behemoth охватил потенциально больший круг аудитории, но все равно не ориентирован на медиа и не ставит перед сбой цели о сглаживании острых углов. Вероятно, здесь ему (Inferno) удается поиграть настоящий правильный метал без указки, результат приятно впечатляет.
