Впервые прослушал его почти сразу после выхода. Отчего-то к тому времени у меня сложилось впечатление об Anthrax как о какой-то веселой и легковесной группе. Однако, с первых же аккордов песни Among the Living это впечатление сразу же исчезло, а звучание этого альбома в тот момент воспринималось как очень техничное. До сих пор слушаю этот альбом с большим удовольствием. лично для меня он является лучшим в дискографии группы. Слабых песен в нем просто нет, выделить какую-то сложно, но до сих пор, с ранешних времен помню впечатление от вступительного соло на песне Imitation of Life.

Этот альбом можно только хвалить - ничего другого этот бронебойный залихватский олдскульный-трэш и не может вызвать. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/metaler.gif)
Выражение "всё гениальное просто" оправдывает себя здесь на все сто - в этом видимо и заключена вся сила этой работы Язвенников - элементарно никазисто выполненные композиции, базирующиеся на панк-хардкоре, цепляют своей бешенной энергетикой и дравовостью с первых секунд так, что так и закрадывается в мозг мысль, что остальные коллеги по "Большой Четверке" могут... типа "пойти покурить пока". Альбом хорош! Проходных песен нет как на следующем. Со временем не надоедает, вокал не типичен для трэша. Нужно CD брать, здесь без вариантов))
Правда единственное что не совсем понравилось, это звучание... |
