Relentless Mutation (2017) продолжает музыкальную линию предыдущего Archspire - The Lucid Collective (2014).
Такая же приятная массажная трещотка для барабанных перепонок, не лишенная впрочем искорки канадского таланта.
9/10 и в личную коллекцию

Технично, но за счет немыслимых скоростей музыкальность местами пропадает, а сама музыка складывается в стрекот. Своеобразная фишка. Но не техника ли это ради техники?
По подаче чем-то отдаленно напоминает Necrophagist/Origin/Gorod, но, безусловно, со своим лицом и это очень-очень круто. Местами суховато, им бы прежде на ладошку плюнуть, а потом уже наяривать...

Не, ну не дэткор, конечно. Звук да, пластиковый, дэткоровский, как у Дисфории например. Но от этого команда не перестает радовать. Релиз просто замечательный. А вокал...ну это что-то космическое. Появилось ощущение, будто это какой-то адский Эминем (или кто там еще самый быстрый) рэп читает

Судя по металархивам и комментариям здесь общее мнение расходится с моим - для меня Архспайр пошли в излишнее усложнение по сравнению с первым альбомом.
Там для меня был идеальный микс дикости, тяжести и техничности. А дальше команда пошла в атмосферность и дальнейшее усложнение материала, которое для меня убило хитовость.

Шикарный альбом, еще больше приблизивший их стиль к Spawn Of Possession (почему-то раньше не помню, чтобы ловил себя на мысли об их схожести).
Вокал, кстати, также дико крутой, смотрел видос на ютубе, где препод по вокалу разбирает, почему вокал недосягаемо крутой.
Послушал уже дофига раз, и пока остается в плеере на еще несколько кругов. Крайне энергичный альбом, слушается на ура при любом настроении.
