К своему стыду, буквально в этом месяце ознакомился с данным коллективом и с этим альбомом в частности. Монументальная музыка! Даже придраться не к чему... Один из редких случаев когда я слушал фьюнерал и не ждал когда же закончится альбом)

Довольно долго я в этот альбом вникал, уж очень однообразная тут музыка, но суть ее не в разнообразии, а в атмосфере и погружении.
Не скажу, что лучший или худший у группы, просто другой, если прет гипнотический психодел, послушаю этот, если хочется более чего-то с налетом готики, то пойду Illusion's Play слушать.

Если говорить о впечатлениях, которые вызывает музыка, то ни о какой мрачнухе речи не идет. Поступательная подача материала скорее наводит на аналогии с созерцанием ледохода на реке вечером в каком-нибудь пустынном месте. Но... слишком уж все неторопливо, как это и должно быть у настоящих финнов. "Выкладывание" кусочков музыкальной мозаики растянуто почти на бесконечность, хотя в сжатом (в плане компактности, а не скорости) виде все это занимало бы минуты две с половиной в каждой песне (в плане разнообрази поэтому я навсегда останусь на стороне Cathedral, пусть сравнение не особо корректно). Главную ценность песням придает женский вокал (Woundheir, Down Into The Stream). Самой интересной мне показалась Shadowed Dreams.

Поразительный шедевр с уникальной, мутной, таинственной, сказочной, камерной, уеденной атмосферой. Раньше когда знакомился со всей дискографией группы не отметил данного факта. Все виной беглое прослушивание и гонка за большим прослушиванием разных групп
