Компиляция, сделанная по аналогии с Sepultura - The Roots Of Sepultura [best of/compilation] (1997).
Снова - каверы, концертные записи, демо-версии, ремиксы. В общем - желание доставить фэнами толику удовольствия за их же деньги. И в целом - получилось.
Правда среди каверов есть уже выпускавшиеся (Crucificados Pelo Sistema и т.д.). Часть из домашних заданий сыграна узнаваемо (Procreation (of the Wicked)), порой - с собственными добавками (Symptom of the Universe), но вот из марлиевской War была сделана совершенно иная песня.
С концертным материалом тоже все ясно, хотя лучше не просто слышать, а видеть (еще лучше - присутствовать лично).
П.с. Лично мне потраченных денег и времени жалко не было.

была такая кассета, с такой же обложкой, но "пиратская" - на стороне В было дозаписано несколько песен неизвестной группы. помню, что песни эти понравились, и как-будто группа была шотландской (как понял на слух по текстам). кто знает, что это была за банда?

N1K1T1N, группа-то в каком стиле исполняла?
Мне кажется, кто-то на rutracker.org задавал подобный вопрос (может в раздаче релиза, а може где отдельной темой в разделе "подскажите название группы-песни) - порыскай поиском там на всякий случай.

TheThrasher, в памяти осталось что с фолковыми элементами, но их немного было, еще там баллада была со словом в припеве: "Scotland", и исполнялось все "чистым" вокалом. за совет спасибо - обязательно посмотрю.
