Этакий поп рок из 80х, такое чувство, что слушаешь Survivor и подобные им команды. Но это очень даже хорошо, с их особым Ghost`овским колоритом. Но, альбом конечно для многократного прослушивания. Их хиты, лично для меня, не с первого раза раскрываются.

Сегодня только его почти и слушал целый день. Да, новый подход, приятно удививший вначале свежестью, по факту оказался некой компиляцией прошлого музыкальной индустрии разных жанровых стилистик. По итогу имею сказать следующее:

1 песня - отличное, мрачное интро, настраивающее на нужный лад.
2 песня - намеренно жестко-металлическая с выхолощенной аурой. Не очень.
3 песня - попытка включить Мальма с шредо-гитарой под жесткий безыдейный чес не удалась.
4 песня - какой то косплей Скорпов. Не очень успешно.
5 песня - инструментал. Просто инструментал. Скорее обычный, чем хороший.
6 песня - кого то очень напоминает этот трэк, прямо очень. Такое ощущение, что недотянули до хита. Что лишний раз подтверждает сентенцию, что написать даже самый дрянной попс- трек, но который бы в голове застревал как какая-нибудь Не плачь Алиса - большой талант.
7 песня - немного по настроению напоминает чем-то даже Джетро Талл - манера вокала, мелодические ходы...Но все одно - у Андерсона лучше!
8 песня - очередная попытка написать ретро-хит, но как то не цепляет. Хотя стилистика и форма вроде наличествуют.
9 песня - опять безыдейный примитивный инструментал. Ну слишком простой. Я бы даже сказал - простецкий.
10 песня - просто приятная стилизованная под 80-е песня. Но опять, цеплючести ноль.
11 песня - кавер на суперхит, но не очень понятно зачем джджджддж-ить, такой риффаж не подходит, ну и вокал неэмоциональный и абсолютно полый. То ли дело ранее - в Crucified, допустим. А еще в этой песне эти трещоточные тстстс барабаны - ну нафигаа?
12 песня - ну кавер, но этим пердящим голосом Кейва трогать - зачем?

Ну в общем, приятные куски есть во всем - в мелодиях, вокале, но они мимолетны и кратки. Даже пары хороших от начала до конца песен нет. Если первые три альбомы были действительно уникальны в том, что группа сделала что-то свое, то тут они активно форсят винегрет из прошлого, взбивая вместе разные года, исполнителей, жанры, влияния...К чему? Непонятно.

Хотите действительно хорошей и качественной попсы, где все выверено от и до, идеально, а не аляповатый винегрет где понамешали и брюкву с клубникой и горох с тортом:
