Here it is! The cover artwork for the new, upcoming Svavelvinter full-length album - ’Mцrkrets Tid’ (‘Time Of Darkness’ in English). It was created by the wildly talented and versatile Pдr Olofsson, who never disappoints. The album layout will once again be done by our skilled friend Seiya Ogino of Ogino Design, together with Christian Дlvestam.

Here a few words from Erik about the meaning behind the lyrical approach, which also forms the basis of the artwork concept:
”Mцrkrets tid is about the dead awakening, about magic, war and tragedy in the fantasy realm of Trachoria. All this takes place in the role playing game adventure Svavelvinter, that I wrote in 1987 and which Christian played as an eleven-year-old kid at the time. Since then Svavelvinter has been published as a novel as well as a role playing game of its own. Now Christian and I have joined forces to produce, what we think is, a truly unique metal album, where all its lyrics picture scenes and moods from the old stories.”
