Nine years after the excellent debut comes this opus; if the debut had its nice individual face with the constant hectic, stylish switches between thrash and death, this time the delivery clings more towards the progressive, not necessarily better excesses of acts like Obscura and Defeated Sanity. There are moments of greatness, of course, but overall the guys have lost some of their identity for the sake of a more generic, less interesting approach.

Вот и меня сильно смутила эта моднота, и это касается не только вокала. Первый их альбом был обычным, но форматным technical death, а тут и вовсе кепочная ересь какая-то.

Разбирал свалку скачанного, но непрослушанного ну и наткнулся на этих Центавров с Альфы. Грамотные музыканты, конечно, но мигрирующие по проектам. Отсюда нехватка композиционной цельности при отличной технике и владением темой.
Собственно, ещё на прошлом альбом была явно продемонстрирована готовность миграции в модерн-модель техно-дэта и чего тогда возникли какие-то вопросы на эту тему, как-будто это нечто удивительное.
Видимо, не возникло постоянного продюсера для этой команды, который мог бы стать сплачивающим и стилизующим фактором, связавший музыкантов не на один альбом. Вот и получается, что м.б. какие-то личные задумки, нереализованные ритмы/мелодии, неукладывающиеся в постоянные проекты замыслы музыкантов находят реализацию на стороне, т.е. в Центаврах с Альфы, но не развиваются в нечто стабильное, а жаль. Потенциал-то мощный пусть даже и в модерновой ипостаси, но было бы интересно.
С отклонением в кор согласен. Весь звукоряд и композиция смещёны именно туда. Но, учитывая гибкость музыкантов, это легко поправимо. Было бы кому править ...
