Dissentience is a thrash metal band at its roots, though elements of death metal, groove, and prog tend to shine through.
While originally known as Why We Fight, the band underwent a few line-up changes and their sound progressed into a more refined brand of metal while still retaining the same passion and rage. After opening for Revocation, The Faceless, Battlecross, and more national acts in just a few, short years, it would be hard to call this Lehigh Valley-based band a rookie act. Since day one, Dissentience has been on a mission to bring metal to the masses.
