не успели записать с ним все, что планировали на альбом, поэтому это все, что было, возможно что-то бы отсеялось и добавилось получше.... но как есть, посмертный альбом

The first album was a mild, patchy affair, not much to talk about, but this one rocks harder with obvious references to the Nevermore legacy, smelling modern thrash quite a bit. Particularly impressive is the The Cure cover of "The Hanging Garden", turned into a rousing, speedier shredder.

Как там у греков? Либо хорошо, либо ничего, кроме правды.
В общем... Покойный всегда пел одну и ту же песню, игнорируя такую чушь как мелодия, ритм и пр., но Лумису удавалось нафантазировать такие партии, что нередко диссонировавший с инструментальной частью вокал Уоррела создавал ощущение изысканной прогрессивности. На этом же альбоме, отдельно живущие голос и инструменты, местами серьезно так режут по ушам. Кроме того, как я понял, Дейн не успел записать все партии и местами вставили демо-записи его вокала - очень глупая затея. Лучше было пригласить сессионного вокалиста закончить дело. Ну а понатыканные модерн-риффы - просто ховайся в жито.
Вердикт. Дейн спел как умел - однообразно, но в своем фирменном стиле, т.е. на высоте, а музыканты - дебилы.

Жаль, что "продолжения банкета" не будет... Отличный альбом, как по мне, впрочем равно как и дебютный! Насколько я люблю работы Nevermore, настолько и эти два альбома уж точно попадут в мой топ и займут достойное место в моей коллекции!
