After listening to Lamentation - Grabens Symphonie (The Years Of 1994​-​1996) [compilation] (2018) I was kinda impressed by this music.

Друзья. если у кого появляются какие-либо релизцы данного направления, просьба их заливать на портал. Ибо пробежав взглядом по трэкеру, обнаружил, что там крайне мало релизов сего направления.

Вот на том ютуб канальце этот исполнитель был залит первым на настоящий момент. Альбом 2009 года - как то несколько чересчур позитивно показалось, хотя там стиль указан фэнтези эмбиент, а не данж, поэтому наверно такое впечатление, особенности стиля)

It's neoclassical dungeon synth ambient. Not like Lamentation but I like it. It has vocals on Russian - I don't understand completely everything he sings but it sounds nice. I like the atmosphere!


P.S: it's quite different, you have to be in the mood for it to like it I think.

Just listened to it. Didn`t like it due to vocal, I prefer this type of music completely instrumental. Being played instrumentally it creates special enveloping atmosphere that is filled with old tales, scary ghosts, thick mists, otherwordly creatures, self-devastating castles and towers...

Из того, что сегодня отслушал

ОЧЕНЬ ХОРОШЕЧНО

1) Отменнейший классический данж (все прямо по канонам, красивейше). На рутрекере есть качество.



2) Данж с сторонними влияниями (космический эмбиент, в частности) Очень насыщенное полотно, весь халява, правда насчет остальных релизов не скажу, их там до фига.



3) Данж с влияниями берлинской школы + очень эмоциональный вокал в последнем трэке. На трэкере можно качнуть.

Щас слушаю на канале Кирквуда - The Legend Of Sam Gamgee - очень хорошо. вот это прям как надо.

Диска у него конечно по объему полный (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headcrab.png) но уповаю на то, что релизов высокого качества все же подавляющее большинство.

Today I'm listening to one of my all time favorite dungeon synth demos and I'd like to give a warm recommendation to anyone interested in the genre:

I've been a big fan of Jääportit for a couple of years, listened to all of his works many times but this demo stands out from the rest of discography. The atmosphere and the melodies are perfect and gloomy, wintry, nostalgic, sad and even sweet in a special way. It's one of those demos that I always enjoy and never get tired of. Maybe that's just my personal opinion but there's something special about this demo. Beautiful, beautiful work!

Thanx for recommendation. As I listen everything on that channel I definitely won`t miss that one out.

What about this "Winter Synth" tag I`m sure that it`s just no more than a tag given to bands by fans to stress some features mainly related to special mood of music (landscapes of winter, cold etc). In fact there`s only one well-established tag - dungeon synth and it should be used all the time. Others are just used for clarification (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif)
