Не ожидал такого лёгонько-мелодичного саунда. Прошлые альбомы были на порядок тяжелее и мрачнее. Этого можно было ожидать, но все равно странновато. Хотя альбом в целом и не плох. Колючесть и приятственность по прежнему у норвегов присутствует. На четверочку. Современный блэк для масс.

Nothing to qualify this whole music style as "melodic" in it. Pure black metal in the spirit, as the real 80s pioneers and 1349 style easy to recognize. They are evolving and it's still very good and crushing.

Dark Funeral, Emperor and most of the black metal bands are far more melodic and still you don't say that they are doing "melodic black metal". It sounds sometimes like thrash black but far more black than thrash here and even more brutal than any Aura noir Destroyer 666 or Nekromantheon song for instance. Riffing is more complex and technical here.

Надо сказать, что Destroyer 666 намного даже мелодичнее сабжа звучит, и так же архаично. И очень недооценённый бэнд, имхо.

The style is not to be qualified as "melodic" at all. It's less melodic than any black/thrash band. (Moreover it is still black metal mainly.)

Лучшее, что у них выходило со времен Либерейшн! Клевый стафф, местами да идет поздний Иммотал и это зашибись!
Второй трек любимый и эти трэш-метальные риффы просто офигенно вписываются, а потом тема очень клево развивается, очень сильно отличается от всех других треков на альбоме.
