Technical/Progressive Groove Metal

Прогрессив рок/метал если грубо говоря
Отличный закос под олдскульчик: рок, прог, психодел, вокал - всё аля 70-е (плюс-минус), плюс современные тенденции и утяжеленное звучание. Относительно творчества Мастодонов - наоборот облегченное.
Ребята отказались от хардкор вокала (только в одном треке покричал Скотт Келли из Неуросис и в "Дивинейшионс" немного Хайндс).
Все вокалы чистые, разные, даже барабанщик запел у них.

Стильный, красивый, психоделичный, волшебный, я бы даже сказал лирично-сентиментальный альбом. Как уже сказали - сказка. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/spitggis0.gif)
Совсем не похоже на то что они делали раньше, если брать в целом. Ну вообще если брать предыдущий альбом то округленно смахивает на Колони Оф Бирчмен, Слипин Гиант, Виз Мортал Сойл.

Мне альбом охеренно понравился, хит на хите. Хотя тру металисты наверняка засрут. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1488.gif)
