Безумно люблю все начиная с 1986 по 1989 год включительно. Ланквист в свое время поразил своим вокалом, жаль, потом не срослось у них. Мессия на 3 альбомах также офигенен. Потом еще понравилась тема Black Dwarf с 2005. Лоуи не люблю, равно как и Викстеда.

Что-ж. Этот альбом общепризнанно считается вроде как пиком творчества группы с Марколином во всех отношениях. Однако мне по душе все же пара ранних. И вот почему. Этот альбом хорош, но вот только трем эпиками: быстрой и заводной Dark Reflections, меланхоличной Tears и задумчивой A Tale of Creation. Не будем забывать и про необычайно атмосферную интерлюдию Voices in the Wind. Что до остального материала, то он по мне скучен и очень зануден. А меж тем, на 1988 просто до фига и больше именно среднетемповых песен, каждая из которых настолько красива и могуча каждым своим риффом, что ни словом сказать. 1987 же содержит нетленные хиты, до сих пор исполняющиеся на каждом концерте. Про 1986 я даже не говорю - это шедевр от первой до последней ноты, гениальная вокальная и композиторская работа.

Лично для меня лучший с Мессией - 1988. Вот где идеальный баланс всего и вся. Вне его - дебют.

Сложный вопрос, у них очень трудно выделить вообще лучший альбом. Их много и каждый по своему неповторим, шедеврален. Но почему-то именно Tales Of Creation чаще всего включаю, он для меня как железная опера. Вокал пархает над блэк саббатовским монотонным полотном, адская музыка и небесный вокал. Потрясающие ощущения!

Из всех альбомов с Марколины раннего периода, данный релиз производит впечатление самого продуманного, проработанного, и доведенного до логического завершения. Сбалансированный альбом, без чрезмерных перегибов и затяжек. Слушается с удовольствием.

Сейчас знакомлюсь. Очень монументальная музыка. Теперь понял, у кого такие английские думстеры как Paradise Lost и My Dying Bride вдохновение могли черпнуть.
