А по мне, очень классный альбом. Музыкально точно, да и вокал, лично я воспринял, как есть. По каким там причинам он стал пусть даже стёбным не важно, как говорят у нас: на скорость не влияет (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif)

По итогу : не самый пустой альбом позднего периода. Может даже лучше двух предыдущих.
Оуэн может смог задать правильное направление и следующий альбом будет цельнее. Здесь можно запросто собрать неплохое ЕП.
Что до воксов, соплистосмолянистость подрастерялась но в целом заходит. Чистого гроула у него с 2003 где то нет, да и похEр как-то. Мне например на 2007 воксы очень нравятся

Обычно нормики не воспринимают экстрим вокал, угарают с него и не понимают как такое слушать вообще.

Вот дал этому альбому второй шанс для себя, и нате-здрасте не всё так хреново как при первом впечатлении. В целом Nightmares Of The Decomposed не самое днище. Наверное он мне под настроение попал второй раз, по музыке нормально и даже "кряхтящий" вокал не вызывает отторжение, наоборот кажется надменно-глумливым и даже специфически украшает данное творение. Короче твердая 3 с едва заметным + Давай Крис, жги дальше...

Never liked deathnroll sh*t and SixFeetUnder as well.
But this album has very few rocknroll and stoner elements
I like vocals, its ok for me and squishy singing is quite interesting, clean well played guitars and sometimes very interesting groovy drumms.

Btw the style of each song is pretty different
1. Amputator - prefect death with old school thrash influence
2. Zodiac - still good, but its just slow death here
3. The Rotting - std well made death with fine melodies and solo on guitar
4. Death Will Follow - same but without solo
5. Migraine - nothing interesting, just a garbage hidden in the middle
6. The Noose - same as above but death riffs instead of stoner and lots of pauses
7. Blood of the Zombie - slow but yummy sounding riffs + good solo. Enjoy the beautiful sound of expensive and well recorded guitar and bass. This song is dedicated to cover the crap from below.
8. Self Imposed Death Sentence - sounds good as above but riffs is pretty boring. Okay to listen as background
9. Dead Girls Don't Scream - opens next garbage block, boring and stupid song
10. Drink Blood, Get High - same as above but riffs are better
11. Labyrinth of Insanity - same but solo is better
12. Without Your Life - fine death metal song

Well that could be a nice EP if delete all except 1,2,3,7,12 tracks. But anyway its weak in music compared to other death metal releases, made only to grab some money.
