3-й полноформатник талантливых итальянцев Node не то, чтобы не понравился - нет, но меня лично он слегка разочаровал. Во время прослушивания сложилось такое впечатление, что бывшие технари и оригиналы наслушались не слишком качественного "мелодета" (терпеть не могу это слово) и сами записали нечто в подобном же стиле. Das Kapital - хоть и весьма техничный, но все же МДМ, не techno-death. По крайней мере, от того самобытного Node, который был на Technical Crime я здесь почти ничего не вижу. Предчувствие плохого появилось во время первого же трека: о боже, я услышал своими ушами (и у кого!) противные модерн-вокальные подпевки. Стало ясно, что итальянцы решили стать более "модными" (соответственно - более продаваемыми). Правда, в дальнейшем Node показали и свои плюсы, что приятно. Например, в середине альбома идут подряд две мощные клёвые вещи - Das Kapital и Retreat' 42. Что интересно, первая из них начинается с речи на немецком, явно времён гитлеровской Германии, после которой идёт забойный риф. А начало второй предваряет уже гимн СССР (!), затем - снова забой, хотя и помедленнее предыдущего. Задумка ясна: и фашизм, и коммунизм - совсем не далёкие друг от друга понятия. В The Plot Sickens - снова эти дурацкие модерн-подпевки! В общем, на мой взгляд, альбом получился неровным - есть свои минусы и свои плюсы. И даже если согласиться, что плюсов больше - то всё равно это не тот блестящий Node. 8/10
