Сильный голос с депрессивными нотами, трэшевая ритм-секция и гитара, звучащая скорее в духе хэви, и выписывающая мелодичные "кренделя". Такой вот винегрет или "трэш для посттрэшевой эпохи" авторства F&J сложился в интересный, непривычно (для того времени) звучащий музыкальный пазл. Причем, блазнится мне, приемы из вокального арсенала Эрика ловко использовались в дальнейшем нашими Мастером или позднеобразным Черным Обелиском. Обязательно надо упомянуть здесь песни Missing и Destructive Signs, медленные (по меркам остальных песен альбома), очень мелодичные и ... навевающие некие аналогии с номерами примерно того же периода от Megadeth.
