Не сразу въехал в этот альбом. Такие ни с того ни с сего акустические экзерсисы от групп, ранее подобным не отмечавшихся, меня всегда настораживали. От хорошей жизни этим не занимаются. Однако, песни Maybe? и Childs Play Part III дали этому альбому в моих глазах второй шанс и, как выяснилось, не зря. Если существуют альбомы, где имеются как хиты, так откровенный шлак, который сколько не слушай, лучшего впечатления о нем не составишь, то есть и такие работы, как эта, в которой песни, с первого раза захватывающие внимание, с каждым прослушиванием помогают раскрываться и остальным, поначалу непримечательным композициям, и через какое-то время уже не знаешь, какая из песен тебе нравится больше. В Acoustic Verses я уже не могу выделить ни одной (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif) Очень душевная, успокаивающая, но, что самое главное для акустики, не усыпляющая работа.

Не плохой диск, хотя немножко скучноват. Музыка в духе поздней Anathema ("На диске присутствуют лишь акустические гитары, фортепьяно, скрипки и минимум барабанов"). Мне больше других понравилась композиция Alone. Слушаю крайне редко.

Альбом-поэзия, альбом-исповедь. Маленькое сокровище. Да и можно ли было ожидать нечто другое от такого музыканта? Одна из самых прекрасных и богатых акустических записей подобного толка.
