Альбом так себе. Не просто не шедевр, но даже и не очень сильно.
Первое - стиль. Звучать, как Rainbow периода коммерческого расцвета да еще и в 2002-м году - не ахти какое достижение.
Второе - продолжительность. Очень большая. Больше часа на девять песен... Утомляет. И потому самая лучшая песня на альбоме - Follow The Sign, потому что она всего четыре с половиной минуты длится. Самая короткая на альбоме. Шучу, в этой песне еще соло - туда и сюда, а все остальное - просто мимо.
Третье - скорость. Даже условные Uriah Heep со своей Easy Livin обходят самую быструю песню отсюда (вроде бы это Edge Of The World), как мерс запорожца на трассе.
Четвертое - затянутость и навязчивость песен. Вообще-то тут есть и очень хорошие мелодии, и соло, и рифы цепляющие. Live For The King, All The Rest Of My Life, Heartbreaker - если навскидку. Но... Все это повторяется, дублируется, просто выносит мозг своим постоянным рефреном. Взять к примеру песню All The Rest Of My Life - в ней же припев в конце повторяется раз восемь! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crazy.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crazy.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/crazy.gif) Если выбросить ненужные повторения, выйдет вполне съедобный релиз минут на 40. А так под него только грибы чистить в большом количестве: вроде и два дела делаешь (чистка грибов и слушка альбома), и оба при этом не требуют особых эмоциональных затрат. Лучше Rainbow Rising слухануть.
