один из моих любимых альбомов в мдм.
также как и Mors Principium Est поставлю 9,5 из 10 по моей шкале оценки мдм.
Здесь мы слышим совсем другой материал, нежели у вышеупомнятых финнов: нет упора на технику и драйв, зато много чистого вокала, а такие песни, как Lost Reality способны иногда пускать муражки по коже.

Полностью согласен. Причем удивил симбиоз этих стилей: на MDMовскую ритмсекцию очень органично ложатся вокал и гитарные партии, ориентированные не только на power, но и на prog-metal. Начало, положенное в альбоме 2002 года, дало отличный результат.

Никак не могу решить, который же мне больше нравится, этот или Architect of Lies. Наверное, всё же Architect. Этот же альбом красен тем, что вокал здесь только от Миккеля, а скрим у него тоже очень уху приятный, ну и, само собой, куча чистых распевок везде, где можно, уникальные мелодии и совершенно особенная атмосфера. Redefine Me и Lost Reality — это офигеть.

Hours That Remain - последний (надеюсь, только на данный момент) безоговорочный шедевр Мерсенери, над котором все еще витает духъ ушедшего из группы Крала. Также тут и просто великолепен Мортен, потеря которого, я считаю, ударила по группе сильнее, чем уход Миккеля, ибо второго еще можно худо-бедно заменить (Рене все-таки постарался, этого не отнять), а вот такого великолепного аранжировщика как его старший брат хер найдешь. Именно он был фундаментом величественной и эпичнейшей атмосферы, которая сделала Мерсенери лучшей околомдмной группой на планете выгодно отделявшей Мерсенери от сонма себе подобных. На Архитекте его влияние заметно ослабло, да и в целом тот альбом записывался скорее по инерции и для галочки.
