Некоторые композиции с данного альбома радуют меня уже несколько лет! Имеются невероятно лиричные и "адски веселые" темы!
Пантера - крутая группа. Этим альбомом данный трэш-грув коллектив начал свое восхождение на мировой метал сцене. |

была ещё не так давно техасская банда Cowboys From Hell Paso (не знаю, что сейчас с ними). ковры на пантеру делали. типа, трибьют-бэнд. был там драммер Рэйзоров, а на вокале чувак, старую группу которого пытаюсь сейчас нарыть

Модернизированная Pantera, отказавшаяся от своего раннего глэмового периода, как проститутка от отдельной главы в биографии. Хотя, стыдиться было совершенно нечего (музыкантам Pantera).
Даймбег на этом альбоме выдал потрясающую серию сильнейших композиций. И пусть сменившиеся настроения группы претят моим настроениям, являя собой голос 'бычки, как образа жизни' (с), тем не менее, я не могу отрицать явный талант или даже гениальность Даймбега. Риффы подобные ударам кастета и строгая пацанская лиричность медленных тем ('Cemetery Gates') und проникновенных соляков ('The Sleep') - всё это создаёт знаменитое настроение альбома, повлиявшее на модные направления тяжёлой музыки в дальнейшем. Если посмотреть на Пантерку образца начала 90-х, то немало впечатляет то, насколько современно они звучат и выглядят. Будто бы речь идёт как минимум о 00-х. Воистину - отцы-вдохновители современных шортовых рыжебородых пирсингованных приседающих парней.. Звук на альбоме довольно сыпучий, транзисторный. А гитар не 2, а одна, что местами влечёт за собой анатомическое проглядывание ритм-секции в моменты соло (как в 'Psycho Holiday'). Плюс, возможно, конфигурация с одним гитаристом предоставляет больше возможностей для виртуозного Даррела в плане риффинга. Любимые моменты альбома: 'Cowboys from Hell' (03.00), 'Primal Concrete Sledge' (01.04), 'Heresy' (02.55), соло в 'Cemetery Gates' (04.52), соло в 'Domination', соло в 'The Sleep'. |

Альбом - предтеча будущего кача. И грува здесь много, Ангар. Для себя выделю следующие трэканы: Ковбои, Праймал, Хереси, Клэш, Медицин, Шреддинг.
Чистый Фила хорош, но здорово что он дальше своего высокого не давал ибо это лишнее было бы на следующих альбомах. Да и здесь его много, выбешивает. Правильно он начал дальше на 92 его вообще не использовать.
