Альбом действительно подубавил былой брутальности, но на передний план вышли четкость, выверенность, мастерство. Лично для меня славен филигранной работой ударника, запоминающимися мозговыносящими соло и очень органично дополняющими это вокальными партиями. Наряду с упомянутыми Storming With Menace, Terrible Certainty на память всегда приходят бошкотрясные Toxic Trace, One Of Us и Behind The Mirror с мелодичным гитарным вступлением.

Такой себе альбом, переходной между офигенным Pleasure To Kill (1986) и лучшим альбомом группы Extreme Aggression (1989). Он неплохой, но благоговения с придыханием не вызывает. Хитов практически нет, все звучит ровно, фоново. Но альбом важен тем, что у группы появился, наконец, свой маскот (в идеальном виде чуть раньше - на отдельно выпущенном сингле Behind the Mirror, но кто их слушает?), хотя они его потом периодически то хeрили, то поднимали из небытия, что довольно плохо, так как маскот действительно прикольный и можно было на одном нём поднять бабла по примеру тех же Iron Maiden. Прямые конкуренты Sodom в том году своим Persecution Mania (1987) просто порвали своих коллег на железный крест. Да и Tankard с Chemical Invasion (1987) и Destruction - Release From Agony (1987) выглядели получше. Но в 89-м Kreator взял реванш и разорвал вообще всех, выпустив альбом года в моем рейтинге.

Ломовейший релиз! Набитый боевиками под завязку. Ничуть не хуже предшественника (а то и лучше), да и всего творчества 80-х.
Storming with Menace одна из лучших песен группы, треш-метал гимн на все времена.
