Первый раз услышал этот альбом в уже далеком 2004 году. Мой подростковый восторг был неописуемый, несколько недель диск не покидал мой музыкальный центр. И вот 15 лет прошло, решил освежить память, и как итог снова восторг но уже зрелого мужика далеко за 30. Многие альбомы со временем воспринимаешь иначе и менее позитивно если быть честным. Но именно Arntor это нестареющая музыка и он вновь держит внимание на всей своей продолжительности. Каждая песня хороша по отдельности и сам альбом несмотря на то, что у многих треков атмосфера разнится от чего то светлого и величественного, до мрачного и трагичного, удивительно целостная. Работа мастера. Светлая тебя память Вальфар...

Among all these Folk/Pagan/Viking bands Windir was one of the most unique. Such melodies and some clean vocals fit in very well with Norwegian folklore, Norse Paganism, Viking era and local history. The atmosphere is very folky, but it's still a very good piece of Black Metal. Every release of Windir is great, but Arntor is my favourite. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dwarf-1.gif)

Too bad that Valfar has died so young... Rest in Valhalla Valfar, ein Windir!
