За что мы любим или не любим группу DEICIDE? За стену фирменного брутального звука, иногда однообразного с едва различимыми мелодиями, за нечленораздельный звериный рык Глена Бентона, и, не исключено, кто-то за перевёрнутые кресты, пентаграммы и пр. атрибутику.

Всё это присутствует на новом альбоме DEICIDE *The Stench Of Redemption* 2006, и с первых же секунд обрушивается на слушателя, но это не главное! Главное, что уже в заглавной песне откуда не возмись появляется умопомрачительно техничное гитарное соло на радость слушателям и на зависть абсолютно всем конкурентам. Меня лично такой поворот просто шокировал, и дальше мои пальцы постоянно тянулись в кнопке Volume! Тем более что эта гитарная феерия продолжалась далее во всех без исключения песнях. Братья Хоффманы ушли - спасибо им. Джек и Ральф - просто молодцы!

К середине этого музыкального праздника захотелось до кучи еще услышать в конце альбома какой-нибудь супер-кавер... И там оказался Black Night (Deep Purple)!

Итак, "The Stench of Redemption" - это действительно одно из лучших death-металлических творений последних лет! И явный претендент на титул лучшего альбома года. Берите немедленно - и этот диск обещает стать №1 в вашем трэк-листе хотя бы на ближайший месяц. А Deicide после неудачи 2004 года снова взабрались на трон королей brutal death. Cannibal Corpse нервно курит. Что ответит Morbid Angel?
