Дико динамичная работа, пульсирующая агрессией и прошитая железной проволокой "хирургической" атмосферы ужаса. Бесспорно, ощущается равнение на флориду, но в отличии от американских дэтстеров бьющих в большей степени чувством искренней животной злобы, их британские коллеги всегда умели создавать музыку пропитанную страхом. Так и здесь, сродни работам Каркасса этого же периода: гудящие "железом" гитары, ухающие ударные и гортанный клекот вокала, всецело передают палитру чувств, испытываемых пациентами хирургического крыла мрачной обветшалой онкологической больницы: ужасные картины патологических изменений внутренних органов, страх осознания приближающейся смерти, стоны умирающих в агонии, ослепляющий свет ламп операционных, блеск скальпелей, чувство физической и эмоциональной боли, хлюпанье ампутированных и изъятых органов. Или картины боя на войне, где пули свистят градом, кругом ковер из тел убитых, рвутся снаряды, грохочут пулеметы и бешеный страх в глазах.
В следующих альбомах они развили эту тему в масштабе глобального хаоса, но здесь всё, даже названия треков, обращено лично к тебе к слушателю и сотрясая сознание красочными "кровожадными" картинами, стремится столкнуть тебя лицом к лицу со своими глубинными страхами.

Очень знаковый для меня альбом в классическом дэт-метле. Многие считают Кэнсэр вторым эшелоном, но первых трех альбомах считаю, они выдали материал, сопоставимый с грандами направления.
