Альбом оказался полным дерьмом и (IMG:style_emoticons/default/12.gif) !!! я очень разочаровался в данном коллективе (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile2.gif) !!! Остались лишь яркие воспоминания от когда-то шедевральных сфер -1993 и тестимони.....-1991 года. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/hmm.gif) после долгого молчания выдали альбом который можно сравнить по силе лишь только с 88-89гг . (IMG:style_emoticons/default/6.gif) полное отсутствие фантазии, сплошной примитив к моиму величайшему сожалению. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/23.gif) такой кал толь в топку (IMG:style_emoticons/default/22.gif)

на мой взгляд, Resurrection Macabre довольно слабый альбом, но Malleus Maleficarum (1988) - это шедевр. Consuming Impulse (1989) - очень хорошо, но слабее Молота Ведьм. Testimony Of The Ancients - сильная вещь. Тем не менее, как мне кажется, он несомненно уступает Молоту. А Spheres ваще слушать не могу - тоска...

Может потому его так нахваливают, что есть много почитателей этой работы)
Мне он точно нравиться больше всего, что они выпустили в 21 веке. Очень самобытный в рамках диско группы, отвязный, злой, без лишней зауми той же Доктрины и с добротным вокалом.

Своеобразная ветка обсуждений. Дух "Morbid Angel просто витал в воздухе" еще на Тестимониях, что, впрочем, не помешало группе по совокупности релизов выработать свой стиль. Перманентное влияние кого-то на Pestilence и Pestilence на кого-то в шальные девяностые дало свои плоды и даже стало триггером своего рода. Сегодня для молодой группы уважаемо, если ее сравнят с Pestilence. Значит, все было не зря.

В год выхода сабж не понравился и был задвинут в дальний ящик, а сейчас решил окинуть свежим взглядом и по совокупности ощущений здесь все очень неплохо. Получился этакий реверанс в сторону собственной юности времен выше упомянутых Тестимоний. Именно "Тестимонии просто витают в воздухе", содрагающемся от Resurrection Macabre, однако, периодически в эфир врываются совсем дуболомные моменты по олдскулу. И все вместе выглядит достаточно органично. Добротный комбэк двенадцатилетней давности!

Вот был бы он чуть более вариативен..Ну что ж так скудно-то. Уже на первой песне я не могу понять, почему Мемали так лень было хоть как-то разнообразить это уныние.
Плюсы:
Вокал - приятно режущий и насыщенный. Плотный, оптимально песочный звук гитар. Cлегка расхлябанные, но всё же плотные и живые ударные. Соло как всегда лаконичны и приятны, тут не придраться.
Минусы (будут?):
Басуху вот задвинули зря - разве можно Тони Чоя задвигать так сильно назад? Изверги. Иногда он вырывается к слушателю, как бы прося помочь ему выбраться из микса хоть немного вперёд. Из-за этого характер звучания пластинки немного напоминает And Justice for All.
Перезапись старых треков. Стало хуже. Не надо так. Не подходит этим трекам современная форма.
И ещё один минус, который до сих пор терзает меня. Что это за "лопающиеся пузырьки" на треке Resurrection Macabre в припевах?? Не, серьёзно. Я думал это у меня на диске была такая лажа, но нет. Скачал из других мест - то же самое. Кто-то может объяснить?
