Для меня этот альбом имеет совершенно особое значение - это вообще первый послушанный Pagan metal альбом. Как часто со мной бывает, покупал диск наугад - в 99 процентах случаев мне везет с покупками. Альбом вызывает впечатление очень сильной и продуманной работы - каждое соло, запев чистым голосом, весьма интересным, кстати, акустическая вставка тут на своем месте. Метальную основу тут составляет мелодез с весьма типичным для него "рычальником" - не могу адекватно оценить этот стиль, но в целом музыка вызывает просто восторг! Как свои любимые песни выделю: Highland Hills, The Ember Deid (Part II) - отличный акустический трек, Forth-Clyde, The Distant Call, On Torrid Sand. Не могу, правда, назвать альбом шедевральным - у той же Суидакры были вещи и сильнее (Arcanum, например). Но свои 9,9/10 он получает однозначно, и место в стереосистеме также. Я слышал часть их следующего альбома - что-то мне подсказывает, что это НЕЧТО!
