Грустная минималистичная меланхоличная Музыка с проникновенным вокалом.
Мне понравилось аж на 8-9/10.
Неожиданно дозрел только сейчас, а лет 5-6 назад почти не торкало.

Тот, кто знаком с двумя первыми релизами \"A Wintersunset\" и \"Songs Of Misty Moors And Fields\", будет немного удивлён, послушав новый альбом EMPYRIUM с \"удобным\" названием \"Where At Night The Wood Grouse Plays\", который почти ничем не напоминает две предыдущие работы в стиле Романтического Black Metal и скорее похож на ULVER \"Kveldssanger\", название которого приходит на ум почти немедленно. Обо всем об этом говорит уже заглавная песня: акустическая гитара в сопровождении флейты и перкуссии, чистый глубокий мужской вокал и очень простой, но легко запоминающийся звук. На остальных песнях тоже нередки фолковые композиции с электрической поддержкой соответствующих инструментов, которая иногда становится просто инструментальной (\"Dying Brokenhearted\"), иногда - с дополнением женского вокала (\"The Shepherd And The Maiden Ghost\") или вообще почти негритянского голоса (\"Many Moons Ago...\"). EMPYRIUM создали удивительный альбом (в самом полном смысле слова), который, тем не менее, приятно не похож на предыдущие работы группы.
