Вот нашел в нете 

Данная программа представляет из себя оффлайн-версию сайта Encyclopaedia Metallum на 28.02.2009 без логотипов групп, фотографий и обложек (ввиду их большого колличества, примерно 7-8 гб). 
Страницы зазеркаленны программой Offline Explorer Enterprise.

Cсылки всех страниц обработанны программой Text Pipe

Для создания содержания, индекса так же была использованна программа HTML Help Workshop 1.3
и htm2chm 3.0.9.3
К сожалению, не удалось организовать полнотекстовой поиск, ибо не нашел достойной программы, способной справиться с таким количеством страниц, но работает индексация по ключевым словам (названиям групп). Так же есть проблема невозможности правильного вывода специальных букв-символов с умляутами и прочими загогулинами

Thanks, very useful. How much time do you needed for ripping the metalarchive, and did you know how much time will be needed for ripping the whole metalarchives (with logos, pictures...) ?

Что-то не нашёл темы по metal-archives, где обсуждали, как его сделать свой и тому подобное. Поэтому дополняю эту тему
случайно нашёл выкладки человека, которому нечего было делать и он наваял диаграммы по жанрам (спад-развитие) -> смотреть здесь

Да, вот я бы не отказался тоже, но:
1) архив версии v1.metal-archives.com;
2) только групп, в названии которых фигурирует в теге стиля Thrash (всё остальное - не надо);
3) можно без картинок, фотографий - но это не первостепенно.
