лучший альбом группы, где сочетание чистого вокала и гроула потрясающе, завораживающе продумано. нету недобора, как в даркнесс энд хоуп и нету перебора, как в мемориале. перетекание песен одна в другую тоже немало способствует восприятию в самых лучших тонах.

Не зря же я, слушая Fields of the Nephilim, заинтересовался более современными Moonspell. Так Irreligious во многом талантливо подражает альбому Elizium. На эту мысль наводят гитарные партии на Awake, Mephisto... да и засэмплированные цитаты слов Главного Адепта, спустя годы, продолжают жить в сознании желающего любить и исследовать то, что находится по ту сторону тёмной вуали ...
