Огромное спасибо товарищу Радегасту за приобщение, но... оцениваю не более 8/10 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile1.gif)
Эталонная техно-трэшевая ритм-секция заслуживает, вне всяких сомнений, самого высшего балла (10/10). Сейчас такое редко у кого услышишь.
Но вот спокойный голос вокалиста (Ron Rinehart) без каких-либо эмоций - явно слабое место Темного Ангела. Цепляющие гитарные соло тоже здесь на вес золота, да и хитов раз два и обчелся. Однако, качевый ритм и опять же (возвращаемся к нашим баранам) обалденная связка Хоглан+Гонзалез серьезно поднимают ценность пластинки.

З.Ы. Да и еще. Продолжительность 67 минут для альбома в стиле трэш-метал - это, знаете ли, перебор... Это тоже минус данной работы. Всё ж не ...And Justice For All.
Не думаю, что я оценил бы Dark Angel выше в начале 90-х или когда-то еще - всё же была и есть целая толпа трэшевых коллективов, которые всегда штырили меня намного сильнее..

З.З.Ы. Кстати, у Radegast'а есть шикарное ссылко на шаронол. Надо только попросить его (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif) он добрый...

i forgot to mension it. i bought the cd two days ago and this is a great package.
for my opinion this is the best thrash metal album with Heathen - Victims Of Deception (1991) and Forbidden - Twisted Into Form (1990)

А я вот почему-то очень уважаю творчество Dark Angel, наравне с [другими] корифеями американского трэша. А в целом, может, Темный Ангел мне даже ближе Slayer, Exodus и кого-то там еще. Нетипично для штатовцев, эти ребята ни на градус не снизили крепость своей музыки до самого последнего альбома — и за это им спасибо от меня. Это тяжелое и быстрое рубилово, конечно, страдает однообразием, но почему-то для меня альбом пролетает на одном дыхании, даже несмотря на его внушительную длительность. В сущности, что надо от трэша — скорость, тяжесть, башкотряс. И всё это здесь есть. Отличный альбом (если кто не знал (IMG:style_emoticons/default/1488.gif) )

Последний, финальный, завершающий карьеру группы альбом. И надо сказать, что получился релиз на славу. Правда, ожидал здесь услышать не то, что представили музыканты. Ожидал услышать - пулемётный, бронебойный трэш-обстрел и массакр времен ДД и ЛС, получил же трэш высочайшей пробы, но со значительно сбавленными оборотами, а также с вполне мелодичным и форматным звучанием. Не скажу, что это плохо, не все же обстреливать как из напалма, но ожидал финальный фул-ленгтх будет на уровне дичайших скоростей и ж0пожестяных безумств. А получил среднетемповый, размеренный и мелодичный трэш, хоть и выдержанный в олдскульном вареве по самую макушку.

Замечательно. Достойное завершение карьеры сего неоринарного, но очень талантливого коллектива. НЕ в золотой фонд, но, безусловно, в коллекцию.

Примечательный альбомище. Один из лучших в трэше по звуку - плотный, рафинированный, с обилием железа ударных.
А вот вокал здесь подкачал - на предшественнике по-бодрее будет.

не, ну все зависит от контекста. "Рафинированный" означает ничто иное как "очищенный", и в данном случае Emm имел ввиду что звук чистый и ясный, что, конечно же, положительное качество.
