Bio Capracide
Capracide started in early summer of '09 after tossing a few ideas around with bits and pieces of written music. With following jam sessions in a tiny apartment room, Guitarists, Mark and Kevin McCombs teamed up with Drummer, Shaan Horton to hone in on the ideal metal sound. With the addition of bassist, Noah Ray, Capracide grows progressively heavier. After countless hours slaving away at transitions and solos, Capracide now has a collection of 4 songs with 4 more on the way. Soon to record with producer and shred guru, Mark Hawkins, Capracide will have 4 professionally mastered songs.
With the combined influences of stupid heavy riffs and technicality from bands like Cannibal Corpse, Job for a Cowboy and Necrophagist, Capracide strives for a zen like balance of brutality, technicality, and epic.
Capracide hopes to follow in the footsteps of Crypteria, Eating Infinity, keeping the florida death metal community alive and kicking. We Acquired singer Martin Moody of Devour the Dead and formerly of Crypteria around mid August '09 and have been loving the energy and presence he brings to the band.
