Formerly known as Acheron (Aus).
Melbourne Death Metal act forged in 1988 by guitarist David Abbott. The band issued a single in 1991 on French label Corpsegrinder Records prior to Abbott and drummer Jason Dutton leaving.
Pulling in substitute guitarist Mark Schilby and drummer Ewan Harriott the band switched their name to Abramelin in order to avoid confusion with the American Acheron.
The last known line-up toured in 2001 with Cradle of Filth.
