Aletheïa was formed in 1996 in Lille, North of France. An EP untitled "Ghostly Quietude" was released in 1999, but the members of the band stopped playing together in 2000.

Довольно нестандартная музыка. Французы явно ищут какие-то свои нехоженные пути, и находят их. Самая лучшая здесь - первая тема Mournig the Sun, довольно цепляющий и хитовый материал, дарк/дэт с мощью и выдумкой, причём, прогрессива нет и в помине. А вот Elsewhere будет позамороченнее, помрачнее, хотя тоже интересна, если приглядеться; некоторая прогрессивность здесь, возможно, и имеет место быть. Ghostly Quietude понравилась наименее всего - очень мрачно. Но в целом, надо признать, французы записали смелую и интересную музыку. К сожалению, продолжения так и не последовало, данная демка - единственное, что осталось от данного проекта. 8/10
