Idolater began around the year 2000 when The Idolater discovered the power of songwriting. Anxious to form a band, he started writing and practicing with other individuals in the area. Due to different visions and a reclusive writing style, it became apparent that he didn’t work well with others.

Idolater’s first work, Regno Abyssus, was terminated in early 2003. Unhappy

with this album, it was never released
