когда-то, году в 2001-м, совершенно случайно этот альбом мне попался в руки.
не знаю уж, чего в нем такого, но, как тогда, так и сейчас, я его могу слушать по кругу часами.
общее впечатление не портит даже плохо поставленный женский вокал (благо, он звучит не слишком часто).

весь альбом в 128 kbps есть на их сайте - можно послушать в качестве сэмплов.
там же есть и видео сего коллектива с более новыми пестнями.

Interresting album. A little different approach to the genre

Wow, this is fucking excellent dark metal demo!!

Amazing gothic melancholic atmosphere, beautiful guitar melodies with loud playful bass lines and black metal vocals - it's almost like listening to old Katatonia! I just wish there were no female vocals because they ruin the music for me.

только мужские вокальные партии зучат классно - но музыкальные пассажи, и вокальные партии девушки звучат очень плохо.

Yes, the demo started really well and enjoyable and then the women started to sing and I just kept thinking "I wish she would finally shut up!". Female vocals completely ruined what could have been an amazing demo.

Where do you have listened to this demo?
I'm still looking for a working link for this release.....

Bокал этой девушки не вписывается в партитуру музыки. Я согласен. Eсть не так и много примеров когда женский вокал является решающей поддержкой для группы. Не портить или звучать вместе с группой. я думаю, что тот кто это записал испытывал компромисс.

Oh, and than you for the 'Dark Metal' genre definition. We had a long talk just a few weeks ago, about 'what the hell are we doing'. We came up with 'progressive gothic metal'. Not that I personally care, how to name it. But it may have some importance, or so they think.

Oh, if anyone is interested, I can share all the files from 'In the Embrace of Nocturnity'. With some guitar tabs even, if anyone is interested, as much as I bothered to write them. Or am BOTHERING. We're trying to rearrange at least 3 (frost, laurelin, nocturnity) of those old songs right now. Because why not?

Actually I have no problem sharing the rest of the unreleased 'The Dispassion Play' demo here. Those other songs...we don't think they are very good and we don't play them any more (except spirits - 2nd link - occasionally). Not worth rearranging, better to use this time for making new songs. Decide yourself:
