about: "Formed in early 2008, Deathstryke was originally a band of four punk rockers playing what was our idea of metal, drawing our influences from the current thrash revival going on in the bay area and of course early Metallica, Slayer, Death Angel etc. We found our fifth member and the seed was planted. The first demo entitled "Demo-Lisha" was released in June/July of '08 with four tracks, one being an instrumental intro. Deathstryke has played live in and around the bay area only a handful of times, due to many line-up changes and constant set backs. Now, in 2011 we have the best and most powerful line-up to date! We will be back to playing live shows."
