- Jacek Regulski died on 29th October 1999 in a motorcycle accident. He was only 34 years old.
- There's a tribute to Kat named "Czarne Zastepy: W Holdzie Kat".
- Kat means "executioner" in Polish.
- Kat sold more than million albums, and toured with bands like Iron Maiden, Metallica, Helloween and others.
- Kat's first published recording is a '82 compilation track called "Zemsta". It can be downloaded from Katfc.pl
- Roman Kostrzewski & Ireneusz Loth left KAT in 2004, and later formed live band named KAT & ROMAN KOSTRZEWSKI (no studio releases). Piotr Luczyk (owner of the KAT name and logo) continued with new members, and in 2005 released album "Mind Cannibals" - most aggressive and heavy KAT recording ever. Album was promoted on a successfull double tour in Europe (with Helloween, and Six Feet Under). In 2007 KAT signed a distribution deal with German label Karthago Records from Germany, and license deal with Nuclear War Now Records from USA, which will release their albums "Mind Cannibals", "666" and "Metal and Hell" on limited edition vinyls.
- Black Devil Records (USA) released the "Thrash Metal Warriors" compilation in 2007, incl. KAT's song "Puppets on the Strings".
