Fusing virulent d-beat with distinctly blackened extreme metal to form a potent sonic palette, Knüppelknecht has created a formidable sonic maelstrom that is sure to shatter several heads and - most importantly - blow your speakers. On "Whoretex of Darkness", sole member V. Knüppelknecht manages to effortlessly combine guttural rasps and calls from the grave as well as a pummeling percussive approach with effective and memorable riffcraft to create songs that are sure to be burnt into listeners' minds and ears. Throughout these tracks, an emphasis is clearly made to snap necks with the unmistakable power of the riff. The Vio-lence is firmly held together by the occasionally intricate, yet always thunderous bass lines provided by Menetekel, while searing solos that rain like blood from the heavens were contributed by Kerberos.
