Absolutely brilliant compilation of the three Heidentum demos, "Lughnasa" and "Helio Celtoi Furor" from 2004, and "Atenoux" from 2005.
This would be the repress of the Satanic Terror Organisation compilation, originally out on tape in 2006.
The solo project of S.S.M.G. (The True Beltron, Dunkelheim, Kraah Dunum), an elusive artist from Germany's fertile late 90's to early 00's scene, Heidentum plays furious, warmongering Pagan Black Metal in the veins of that era of wrath and pride. Honoring the Germanic tribes, their heritage, and the might of Odin, Heidentum delivered excellent heathen strife, following on a similar tradition to many Central European hordes such as Graveland or compatriots in Mjölnir, Absurd, Flammentod, etc., delivered with primitive, stoic honor, and excellently layered with belligerent drums, mystical keys and various vocal registers from cold, hateful screams to epic clean chants similar to Martial Neofolk classics, while delivering the guitars in a very atmospheric, blizzard-like manner, resembling the likes of Hate Forest or the Blazebirth Hall bands.
A real gem and true example of primeval Central European Pagan BM brimming with real, unabashed spirit, vision and dedication.
