The second demo from Obscurum Tenebrarum.
A project originally formed as an international duo between Akhlys (Swine Soul) and Abscheulichkeit, playing decrepit and extremely noisy Raw Black Metal. This original formation only lasted through 2 excellent splits in 2019, one with Voidorror and another with Moribund and Herxsebet.
In 2021 the project was revived by its Austrian member, Abscheulichkeit, now operating under the moniker of He, and playing Dark/Black Ambient and released its first demo on Dismal Ruin, entitled "I - The Cosmic Ruin".
Now one year later, and with a huge improvement, He returns with a brilliant piece of Lovecraftian, haunting Black Ambient. Being one of the few artists that actually gets close to representing the true and immense horror of the writer's stories, Obscurum Tenebrarum deliver one of the best Black Ambient releases in recent times, combining perfectly disorienting blown out synthesizers, with shivering vocal terror, Noise elements and monstrous samples to create truly obliterating, abysmal atmospheres, like being in the ocean depths staring at the immensity of a chthonian being, as he feasts mercilessly upon his victims.
