Release notes:
In 2008, friends Robert Spencer and Chris Smith decided that they wanted
to create a project unlike any other in the Texas scene. They quickly
set their sites on former Deadward guitarist Patrick Dempsey, and before
long, TCP was a trio. Soon, Jeremy Choice was enlisted to fill the
bassist job, and The Compliance Process was born. In September, TCP
entered TLA Studios in Weatherford, Texas with Larry Summers (in
theory., The Destro) at the helm. "Decadence and Decay", TCP's first
single, was the final product of the band's sessions. In November 2008,
TCP decided they wanted to expand their sound, and decided to seek a
second guitarist. Enter Darren Moon. Later that month, Jeremy Choice and
the band mutually decided to part ways, and Justin Dees stepped up to
fill the spot, becoming the final member. In early 2009, the five peice
traveled to Pritchett, Texas and tracked what would become the 6 song EP
at MyPlasticStudios with Drew Emory in the engineer's chair. Back on
track, TCP promises a highly energetic live show, filled with guitar
swinging and waist banging, and makes sure no fan goes home unhappy.
