Based in NY, this trio’s 2004 vocation is to make ultra-heavy music with zero compromise. Hypnotism through riffs, sounds waves, dark winding drones, tone manipulation, tempo elastication, ear-hating amplification, words from the outer and inner summoned through chants, howls, and (of course) the blues.The grimness of this album can also be attributed, in part, to the underground legend, Stephen O’Malley , whose assistance in production has transformed these epic slabs of cold marble into the most suicidal anthems of violent emptiness.The extremity is unquestionable and is not your standard Doom or Stoner. The mix of Black Metal influences with bleak, sick & sub crust marathon dirges must be heralded as pure nirvana for the blackest of Doom fans.
