The band AFEKTH was created by Maikh in early 2008. Music of the band is described as an experimental metal. Since 2008 the band went through some changes and started serious music activity with energic debut gig and EP "The First Two Names" in 2009. In that year the band played many gigs around the country. The most known act took the place in Cracow on Before Party of Knockout Festival, where bands like Meshuggah, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Testament or Cynic played. The band shortly got recognized and appeared on many music sites like Interia.pl. The band got good reviews, was mentioned as an artist of a day on Muzzo.pl and enjoyed another few succesful gigs. After some time the band started to make a new material and 2010 will be the year of their upcoming longplay debut album.
