Lampir and Witchmoon are two names synonymous with the contemporary aeon of Raw Black Metal hatred. Creeping from the same dungeon of lo-fi filth, both acts have since last year summoned an overflow of subterranean lunacy under a set of releases that sparked the allegiance from servants of the macabre most hideous Underground Black Metal.
Sparked by the same nebula of twilight and delirium, both hordes unite for a mutual venture of absolute dementia. With ambient keyboard reverberations as a prelude, Lampir degenerates unto a void of derangement by matter of excruciating wails, demented guitar riffs, an ultimate compound of aural darkness and despair. Witchmoon thrusts forth with 15 minutes of morbidity, emanations from the deepest abyss under a spell of diabolical guitar frenzy, hypnotic rhythms, coupled by an atmosphere of sheer dread.
Released in a joined conspiracy by Black Gangrene and Perverse Homage, this split is a testimony of both acts’ expression and grandeur, a statement to the labels devotion to the ultimate strands of Black Metal terror.
