When longtime friends and collaborators April Hutchins (AKA Anna Pest) and Colin MacAndrew (of Ashbreather fame) got together to write some music in early 2021, they initially wanted to try writing a few dumb, fun slam tunes. But April's insatiable thirst for corny melodies and Colin's proclivity for odd-time meter madness ended up leading them astray. The end result of their endeavour was this: a proggy death metal monstrosity featuring chunky riffing, anguished harmonies, dizzying technicality, crushing breakdowns, and (naturally) a few properly devastating slams for good measure. Strap in for an eclectic joyride through an apocalyptic and otherworldly landscape.
