More often than not, critics jump on the latest trends and hail numerous bands to be “bringing heavy metal back,” as if it ever truly went away. The problem is that almost every band out there that claim to be doing such a thing simply aren’t. Then there’s Tyrann! What separates them from the sad pack is their honesty; they’re not just honest to the music, but—most importantly—to themselves, and it’s obvious both on record and on stage.
What we have here on this EP is a small taste of what the band delivered in Stockholm at a sold out Hus 7 on 13 October, 2023. Within these grooves, you’ll experience raw, heavy metal energy not found anywhere else. Tyrann aren’t just a statement, but a living testament to what heavy metal was and can still be. It’s not about fashion, it’s about passion! The past is the past, and can’t be redone. Tyrann is the here, and now, and the future.
