Almost enough to fill the Bal Sagoth sized hole in my soul... ALMOST. Admirable effort, regardless.

Blasphemy! Sacrilege!
You got the nerve to compare THIS travesty to the almighty BAL-SAGOTH... 25.gif

6.gif Hold on! I was just making a very superficial comparison, this obviously doesn't hold a horn to classic Sagoth. But listening to it again, I have to say the Sagoth references hold. At least in the tracks "Veins of Sin" and "Symphony of the Damned". The orchestral parts are far more Sagoth than any other symphonic black metal band I can think of. For better or worse.

well, if you want "far more Sagoth than any other symphonic black metal band I can think of" check out Zel-Agganor, for instance Doesn't hold a candle to BS either but the influences are WAY more pronounced. This band in question though rather takes cues from Turisas , I would say, albeit with subpar production values
