Pulentor mostly a form of Grindcore
This is another treasure which is really hard to find: Pulentor (the name is a mixture between Terminator I guess, and the Chilean slang Pulento meaning terrific, awesome, etc.). Their one and only demo from 1989, hailing from the port city of Valparaнso, home of so many other glorious metal bands. This is experimental grindcore, the bastard offspring of thrash metal, hardcore punk and demented minds. All songs were improvised, recorded live in the house of a member of Belial, in a record time of 1 hour. The lyrics are completely absurd, to the point that you can't figure out whether these people are outstanding but misunderstood geniuses or retarded idiots: Most likely, they are somewhere in between. In the middle of the raging outbursts that they play, you can hear the voice of Hanna Barbera cartoons, particularly of Huckle Berry Hound (dubbed in Latin American Spanish, so those of you who did grow up with the orioginal show in English will not recognize the voice).

The line up included none other than two members of Belial (Nano y Kako Reyes) and none other than Claudio Muсoz, aka "Comanche", one of the drum players to have served duty in classic Chilean thrash metal band "Massacre".

All this said, the demo is amazing. For some reason (can't really figure out why) there is something glorious to this non sensical racket.

For all of you who enjoy grindcore... you can't miss it! And those of you who don't, you can still enjoy it.
